I can deliver my Welcome2 Wellness and Fit2Work sessions which focus on health and wellbeing in the work place and can be delivered as one off sessions for events such as Work life balance week, or over a longer period of 5-8 weeks. I can also develop bespoke sessions to cater for individual organisational needs, depending on your focus, budget and available space.
So whilst I know rearranging work spaces and providing balls as seats isn't for everyone, I can help improve your work forces' posture and concentration, whilst giving them breathing techniques and relaxation exercises to help ease the stress of our busy lives.
I am currently working with Imperial College London running a second Menopause Support course folowing on from a rane of awareness sessions and after successfully delivering a range of sessions for them in Mental Health Awareness Week and for 'Blue Monday'.
I have also teamed up with Dr Sam Savage from St Thomas's Hospital to offer sessions to NHS Staff through their Actio programme - encouraging NHS workers to take 9-30 minutes out of their day to look after their own mental and physical health.
I have delivered sessions through Nuffield Health and freelance in a number of high profile corporate gym's including Canary Wharf (Barclays, Credit Suisse, Thomson Reuters) Nomura, Hogan Lovells and Deutche Bank (London City) and The Ark, Hammersmith.
I delivered staff wellness sessions at the Emirates Aviation Experience, Florence Nightingale Museum and the Museum of London, sessions as part of the Imperial War Museums' staff wellness month and I ran a 'Healthy workforce session for the National Trust.
For Team London's Mediculture festival I ran themed events based on Florence Nightingales work and thoughts on health entitled 'What would Florence Say?' and 'What would Florence Do? - following individual research on her advice to nurses in her letters and 'Notes on Nursing'.
Working with KR Fitness Education, we can deliver a workshop based around healthy eating and hydration along with practical chair/desk based exercise sessions or a YMCA Level 1 Award in Lifestyle Management.
'I thought it was a great session. The trainer was very friendly, kept the session interesting with interaction and was very friendly with lots of knowledge about mobility and the body. It was an easy, relaxing session to join online.'
Blue Monday session
'The instructor was very friendly, and engaged individuals to understand their practices/experience and tailored some information or highlighted certain stretching exercises that were useful to those needs. It was a nice mix of breathing and stretching and very accessible for all. Very practical and the message of small actions, small amount of time to invest throughout your day that can help your body and mind was great.'
'Thank you for attending our practise to deliver the Pilates session, the staff members who attended enjoyed it'.
One participant was hesitant having never tried Pilates before and asked if she could just join for 10 minutes or so, which I said was fine - 45 minutes later she was confidently performing the exercises....
'I thought it was a great session, you were extremely reassuring. I think its a fascinating subject, imagining what Florence Nightingale would say and think about menopause. Your delivery was so friendly, open and knowledgeable.'
